Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor duties such as site clean-up, material handling, and debris removal.
  • Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, masons) with their tasks.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings when required.
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and barricades.
  • Load, unload, and transport building materials to work areas.
  • Dig trenches, compact earth, and prepare surfaces for construction.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations strictly to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in general construction or related labor roles.
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
