Key Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties such as site clean-up, material handling, and debris removal.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, masons) with their tasks.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings when required.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and barricades.
- Load, unload, and transport building materials to work areas.
- Dig trenches, compact earth, and prepare surfaces for construction.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations strictly to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in general construction or related labor roles.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
