Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and edit compelling copy for a range of marketing materials including digital ads (Google, Social Media), email newsletters, website content, blog posts, and social media campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team, graphic designers, and strategists to ensure copy aligns with visual elements and overall campaign objectives.
- Maintain and evolve brand voice and tone across all platforms, ensuring consistency and brand integrity.
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor activities, and target audience insights to inform content creation.
- Optimise copy for SEO keywords and user engagement to improve search rankings and content visibility.
- Proofread and edit all written materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and factual accuracy, maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for new campaigns and content initiatives.
- Analyse campaign performance data to identify opportunities for copy improvement and A/B test various approaches to maximise effectiveness.
- Manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably within an agency or fast-paced in-house marketing team.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of English grammar and style.
- A diverse portfolio demonstrating successful copy across digital ads, email marketing, and social media.
- Proven ability to adapt writing style and tone to suit different brands, target audiences, and marketing objectives.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and how to integrate keywords naturally into compelling content.
- Familiarity with various social media platforms and their respective content requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
