Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport various goods, packages, and documents to designated locations within Edmonton.
- Adhere to assigned delivery schedules and routes, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery signatures and package counts.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions, representing Hiring.zycto professionally.
- Load and unload packages safely, using appropriate handling techniques.
- Operate delivery vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding delivery status or potential delays.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent for Alberta).
- Clean driving record (driver's abstract required).
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs (23 kg) safely.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Geographical familiarity with Edmonton or a strong ability to learn routes quickly.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience with navigation apps or GPS devices.
- Customer service experience (any field).
