Hiring.zycto is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Custodian. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waxing floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring adequate supplies are maintained.
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
- Restock supplies in restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring proper care and storage.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs to supervisors.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed, such as changing lightbulbs.
- Respond to special cleaning requests and emergencies in a timely manner.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all staff and visitors.
Required Skills
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to tasks.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 25 lbs), and reaching for extended periods.
- Reliability and strong work ethic.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies (training provided).
- Commitment to safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
