As a Fabric Cutter, you will play a pivotal role in the initial stages of our textile manufacturing process, ensuring the accurate and efficient preparation of materials for various projects. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret design specifications, patterns, and production orders.
- Efficiently lay out various fabrics to maximize material yield and minimize waste.
- Execute precise cuts using manual tools (e.g., shears, rotary cutters) and operate automated cutting machinery.
- Inspect incoming fabrics for defects, flaws, or inconsistencies prior to cutting.
- Maintain all cutting equipment, ensuring proper calibration and sharp blades for optimal performance.
- Organize, bundle, and accurately label all cut fabric pieces for subsequent production stages.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate effectively with design, sewing, and quality control teams to ensure seamless workflow.
- Perform quality checks on cut materials, ensuring dimensions and specifications are met.
- Manage and track fabric inventory, including remnants and off-cuts, for reuse or proper disposal.
