As a Cyber Security Manager, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and enforcing our cybersecurity strategy, policies, and procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Lead and mentor a remote team of cybersecurity analysts and engineers, fostering their professional growth.
- Oversee all aspects of security operations, including incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, CCPA), and internal policies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, identify security gaps, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Manage the selection, implementation, and optimization of security technologies and tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IAM, firewalls).
- Collaborate with IT, development, and business units to integrate security best practices into all projects and processes.
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity training and awareness programs for all employees.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously enhance our security posture.
- Prepare and present regular reports on security performance, incidents, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (6+ years) in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Deep understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), and application security principles.
- Hands-on experience with security information and event management (SIEM), endpoint detection and response (EDR), and identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
- Strong incident response and disaster recovery planning capabilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a remote team.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic security roadmaps.
- Proficiency in risk management methodologies and security assessment techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience implementing DevSecOps practices within CI/CD pipelines.
