Key Responsibilities
- Collect and interpret data from various primary and secondary sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Perform initial data cleaning, transformation, and validation to prepare datasets for analysis.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using visualization tools to present data insights clearly and concisely.
- Assist senior analysts in conducting statistical analysis and identifying trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and translate business questions into analytical problems.
- Support the documentation of data processes, definitions, and results to maintain institutional knowledge.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance analytical skills and knowledge of industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, functions)
- Foundational knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly and effectively
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related discipline
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of statistical methods and their applications
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus
- Familiarity with database management systems
