Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization platforms.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable insights to various business units.
  • Develop and implement robust forecasting models to predict future business performance, sales, and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and understand business challenges that can be addressed through data.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and engaging presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity across all reports and analyses.
  • Automate reporting processes where possible to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the evolution of our data analytics capabilities.
  • Stay current with industry best practices in data analysis, reporting, visualization, and forecasting techniques.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a strong portfolio in reporting, visualization, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Expertise in at least one major BI tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) for dashboard creation and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis and experience with forecasting methodologies (e.g., time series analysis, regression).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights clearly.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
  • Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Certification in relevant data visualization tools or data analytics platforms.
