Job Description
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on young lives? Hiring.zycto is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Daycare Assistant to join our vibrant team in Upper Beaches, Toronto. This is an incredible opportunity for individuals who possess a natural affinity for children, a nurturing spirit, and a strong desire to contribute to a stimulating learning environment, even without a formal Early Childhood Education (ECE) certificate. We believe that genuine care, patience, and a positive attitude are paramount in childcare, and we are committed to providing comprehensive on-the-job training to the right candidate.
As a Daycare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our centre, supporting our lead educators and ensuring a safe, engaging, and welcoming atmosphere for all children. Your days will be filled with opportunities to interact, play, and learn alongside our young explorers, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. You’ll be an integral part of a team that values collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement. This role requires energy, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting children through various activities, from playtime and artistic expression to meal times and quiet periods.
We understand that entering the childcare field without formal certification can seem daunting, but at Hiring.zycto, we focus on your potential and passion. If you have experience caring for children in informal settings – perhaps through babysitting, volunteering, or raising your own family – and are eager to learn and grow within a professional setting, we strongly encourage you to apply. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, excellent communicators, and possess an unwavering commitment to child safety and well-being. Join us in cultivating a space where children thrive and your dedication is truly valued.
