Hiring.zycto is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Daycare Workers to join our partner child care centers in the Eringate, Toronto area. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about early childhood development and are ready to make an immediate impact. As a Daycare Worker, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You will be responsible for supervising children, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, and fostering positive social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise children safely during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their well-being at all times.
- Plan, prepare, and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities (e.g., arts and crafts, storytelling, games, music).
- Assist children with daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices (e.g., diaper changing, toilet training).
- Observe and monitor children's behavior and development, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe play and learning environment.
- Communicate effectively and positively with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement individual and group care plans.
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow emergency procedures.
- Promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through engaging interactions.
- Document daily activities, observations, and incidents as required.
Required Skills
- Experience working with children in a licensed child care setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and nurturing environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain immediately).
- Patience, empathy, and a high level of responsibility.
- Ability to manage group dynamics and individual needs effectively.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma or degree.
- Previous experience in a full-time daycare worker role.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and licensing requirements in Ontario.
- Experience with emergent curriculum or play-based learning approaches.
- Ability to speak multiple languages (e.g., French, Hindi, Punjabi) is an asset.
