Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection and special requests.
- Prepare and package various deli items, including sliced meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches, following established recipes and procedures.
- Maintain clean and organized deli cases, ensuring products are fresh, properly rotated, and attractively displayed.
- Operate deli equipment such as slicers, scales, and ovens safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels, report discrepancies, and assist with receiving and stocking new products.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
- Perform general cleaning duties in the deli area, including floors, counters, and equipment.
