As a Delivery Driver with Hiring.zycto, you’ll be the face of our company, responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our valued customers throughout the Hialeah area. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver goods to customers on scheduled routes.
- Load and unload delivery items with care and efficiency.
- Verify order accuracy with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and perform routine inspections of the delivery vehicle.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during all interactions.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding deliveries, delays, or issues.
- Organize and plan delivery routes to ensure timely completion.
- Handle delivery paperwork and electronic logs accurately.
- Represent Hiring.zycto with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Required Skills
- Valid Florida Driver's License (Class E or higher)
- Clean driving record for the past 3-5 years (no major violations)
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Hialeah and surrounding areas street navigation
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a role requiring route planning or scheduling
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
