Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations across London.
- Follow planned delivery routes and schedules diligently to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Accurately load, unload, and secure packages and products with utmost care.
- Verify correct packages for delivery, ensuring accuracy against manifests and customer orders.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, always representing Hiring.zycto's brand with pride.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Handle cash or electronic payments securely if required, with proper documentation and reporting.
- Communicate effectively and proactively with the dispatch team regarding delivery status, delays, or unforeseen issues.
Required Skills
- Valid UK Driving License (Category B minimum, held for at least 1 year).
- Clean driving record (minor points considered, but no major endorsements).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25kg comfortably.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet delivery deadlines.
