Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick up orders from various vendors (restaurants, shops, etc.) within Sparkhill.
- Safely and punctually deliver items to customers at their specified locations.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring positive interactions.
- Handle goods with care, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition.
- Communicate effectively with customers and our support team regarding delivery status or issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Manage delivery routes efficiently using our dispatch application.
- Represent Hiring.zycto professionally and courteously at all times.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in cycling and a strong understanding of road safety.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to use a smartphone with GPS and our delivery application.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
- Knowledge of Sparkhill and surrounding Birmingham areas is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or courier role.
- Familiarity with local Birmingham routes and shortcuts.
- Own a well-maintained, roadworthy bicycle and appropriate safety gear (helmet, lights, etc.).
