Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures, learning proper chairside techniques.
- Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean, sterilized, and stocked with necessary instruments and materials.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) under supervision, once trained.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and general dental health practices.
- Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and handle general administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment.
- Provide compassionate and supportive care to patients before, during, and after treatments.
- Learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures within the dental field.
- Ensure patient comfort and build positive rapport with all patients.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
