Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior designers with project research, mood board creation, and concept development.
  • Prepare design files, presentations, and mock-ups using various software.
  • Manage and organize the design studio's material library, samples, and digital resources.
  • Coordinate with vendors for material procurement and project timelines.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Support with quality control checks on design outputs before client presentations.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring studio environment.
  • Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions and team meetings.
  • Assist with photography and videography setup for design presentations or social media content.
  • Ensure all design assets are properly archived and accessible for future use.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of design principles and visual aesthetics.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Eagerness to learn, a proactive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Fine Arts, or a related creative field.
  • 6-12 months of prior experience in a design studio or creative agency setting.
