Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in a structured, comprehensive training program to learn all aspects of dialysis patient care and machine operation.
  • Observe and assist certified Dialysis Technicians and Registered Nurses during dialysis treatments.
  • Learn to prepare and set up dialysis machines and equipment, including dialyzers and tubing.
  • Understand and practice aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
  • Monitor patients during dialysis treatments under direct supervision, including vital signs and patient comfort.
  • Document observations and patient information accurately as instructed by supervising staff.
  • Assist with the safe transportation and transfer of patients as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients and their families.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete all assigned readings, coursework, and practical skill evaluations within the training timeframe.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
