Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in a structured, comprehensive training program to learn all aspects of dialysis patient care and machine operation.
- Observe and assist certified Dialysis Technicians and Registered Nurses during dialysis treatments.
- Learn to prepare and set up dialysis machines and equipment, including dialyzers and tubing.
- Understand and practice aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Monitor patients during dialysis treatments under direct supervision, including vital signs and patient comfort.
- Document observations and patient information accurately as instructed by supervising staff.
- Assist with the safe transportation and transfer of patients as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients and their families.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Complete all assigned readings, coursework, and practical skill evaluations within the training timeframe.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
