As the Director of Advocacy, you will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive advocacy strategies that advance our mission and legislative priorities.
You will lead a dedicated team, inspiring them to achieve ambitious goals in policy reform, community engagement, and strategic communications. This role demands a unique blend of political acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the non-profit landscape. You will be the organization’s primary voice in advocating for critical issues, building robust coalitions with partners, stakeholders, and government officials, and ensuring our policy positions are clearly articulated and influential.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive advocacy strategies aligned with organizational goals and mission.
- Lead and mentor a team of advocacy professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with government officials, policymakers, partner organizations, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough policy research and analysis, preparing briefs, reports, and presentations on critical issues.
- Represent the organization in public forums, media engagements, and legislative meetings to advance advocacy priorities.
- Monitor legislative developments and policy changes, identifying opportunities and threats to the organization's mission.
- Develop and manage the advocacy budget, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
