Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Community Engagement to lead our efforts in building strong, sustainable relationships with our diverse community partners, stakeholders, and beneficiaries. This pivotal role requires an individual with a profound understanding of non-profit operations, a strategic mindset for community development, and an unwavering commitment to social impact. The Director will be instrumental in shaping our community outreach strategies, enhancing our public profile, and ensuring our programs resonate deeply with the needs of the populations we serve.

As the Director of Community Engagement, you will be the primary architect of our engagement framework, responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating initiatives that foster participation, volunteerism, and advocacy. You will work cross-functionally with program teams, fundraising, and communications to align engagement efforts with organizational goals. This includes identifying new opportunities for collaboration, managing key partnerships, and leading a small but mighty team dedicated to outreach. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to secure resources, mobilize support, and amplify the voices of our community members.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, possesses exceptional communication skills, and has a proven track record of mobilizing communities towards a common cause. This role demands not only strategic thinking but also a hands-on approach to community building, requiring presence at events, stakeholder meetings, and public forums. If you are passionate about creating lasting change and empowering communities through strategic engagement, and you are ready to drive our mission forward in the vibrant non-profit landscape of Toronto, we encourage you to apply. This is an opportunity to leave a significant footprint on critical social initiatives and truly embody our values of collaboration, integrity, and impact.
