Key Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid needs assessments in disaster-affected areas to identify immediate requirements for aid.
- Distribute essential emergency supplies such as food, water, blankets, and hygiene kits to affected populations.
- Assist in the swift setup and efficient management of temporary shelters and relief centres.
- Provide direct support and compassionate comfort to individuals and families impacted by disasters.
- Coordinate logistics for the timely delivery of aid and effective allocation of resources.
- Collaborate closely with local emergency services, government agencies, and other non-governmental organizations.
- Document incident reports, track resource utilization, and accurately record beneficiary data.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and international humanitarian standards during response operations.
- Participate actively in post-disaster recovery planning and execution phases as needed.
- Engage in community outreach and education initiatives focused on disaster preparedness and resilience.
