Job Description
Hiring.zycto is searching for a meticulous and dedicated Dish Cleaner to join our dynamic kitchen team in Rouge, Toronto. This essential role is the backbone of our back-of-house operations, ensuring that our kitchen always has a steady supply of clean, sanitized dishes, cutlery, pots, and pans. You will play a critical part in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and organization, directly contributing to the smooth workflow of our chefs and the overall guest experience. As a Dish Cleaner, you will be responsible for operating our industrial dishwashing equipment efficiently, managing waste and recycling, and keeping the dishwashing area spotless. Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing machinery efficiently and safely, including loading, unloading, and organizing items.
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and work surfaces.
- Remove trash and recycling, ensuring proper waste disposal procedures are followed.
- Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks as needed, such as sweeping and mopping.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals.
- Support kitchen staff by ensuring a continuous supply of clean equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg).
