Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently to clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, and pans.
- Ensure all cleaned items are properly stored and organized in designated areas, ready for immediate use.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and shelving.
- Empty trash receptacles regularly and transport waste to appropriate disposal areas, adhering to waste management protocols.
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks as required, such as sweeping and mopping floors, ensuring a hygienic workspace.
- Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions, breakages, or safety hazards to management promptly to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and standards set by the company and local authorities.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when necessary, such as washing and peeling vegetables.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with all team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure timely completion of all tasks to support the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen during peak service hours.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs) comfortably.
