Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior dispatchers in managing daily delivery routes and schedules.
- Monitor driver progress and communicate any delays or issues effectively.
- Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing support and clear instructions.
- Handle inbound calls from customers regarding delivery status and service inquiries.
- Update dispatch software with real-time information and delivery outcomes.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading and unloading of goods.
- Resolve minor delivery discrepancies and escalate complex issues to management.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities and incidents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient team environment.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
