Hiring.zycto is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Doctor to join our esteemed medical practice in Attercliffe, Sheffield. This unique opportunity is open to both experienced General Practitioners and Specialists looking to make a significant impact on community health. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert primary medical care to a diverse patient population, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
- Conduct thorough patient consultations, examinations, and diagnostic investigations as required.
- Develop and implement personalised treatment plans, prescribing medication and initiating referrals to specialist services when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records using our electronic health record system.
- Participate in regular clinical meetings, contributing to service improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
- Uphold the highest standards of medical ethics and professional conduct at all times.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Provide health education and preventative care advice to patients and their families.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff or trainees if applicable.
Required Skills
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice in the UK.
- Entry on the GP Register (CCT or equivalent) for General Practitioners.
- Relevant specialist registration (e.g., CCT in a specialty) for Specialist Doctors.
- Demonstrable experience in primary or secondary care settings.
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with empathy and cultural sensitivity.
- Proficiency in using electronic patient record systems.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Up-to-date knowledge of medical guidelines, best practices, and clinical governance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with specific local healthcare pathways in Sheffield/South Yorkshire.
- Additional postgraduate qualifications or special interests (e.g., Minor Surgery, Dermatology, Women's Health, Mental Health).
- Experience in teaching or mentoring medical students/junior doctors.
- Fluency in additional languages relevant to the local community.
- Experience in service development or quality improvement projects.
