Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and schematics using CAD software.
- Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and P&IDs to create accurate and compliant drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure design intent is accurately captured.
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards and company guidelines.
- Manage drawing revisions, maintaining comprehensive documentation and version control.
- Identify and resolve design conflicts or discrepancies, proposing practical and effective solutions.
- Prepare material lists and specifications as required for procurement and manufacturing.
- Assist in the development of standard drawing procedures and templates.
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior draughtsmen or team members as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
