Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading packages safely and efficiently.
- Navigate routes using GPS and local knowledge to ensure timely deliveries.
- Deliver packages to customers' homes and businesses, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery.
- Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and dispatch regarding delivery status or issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and work area.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies and procedures.
- Support the driver with various tasks to optimize delivery efficiency.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25 kg regularly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for verifying deliveries.
