Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced drivers with daily route planning and execution, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
- Help with the safe loading and unloading of goods or packages, following established protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs or issues.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle condition.
- Provide professional and courteous assistance to customers during deliveries or interactions.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and transportation regulations.
- Support the driver in navigating routes, checking addresses, and communicating with dispatch.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
