Job Description

You will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods or people within Palm Coast and surrounding areas, ensuring all deliveries and routes are completed efficiently while adhering to company and traffic regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively and successfully complete all provided driver training modules and certifications.
- Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Ensure timely and efficient completion of assigned routes and deliveries.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
- Adhere to strict schedules and delivery deadlines.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients or the public.
- Load and unload goods as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, and any issues encountered.
Required Skills
- Valid Florida Driver's License (Class E or higher)
- Clean driving record for at least the past three years
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to regulations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to follow GPS directions and navigate efficiently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to load/unload cargo and perform vehicle inspections (up to 50 lbs)
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Familiarity with Palm Coast and Flagler County roads
- Basic mechanical knowledge for simple vehicle checks
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
