Job Description

As a Remote ESG Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in researching, analyzing, and reporting on ESG performance across various industries and companies. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of ESG data from public disclosures, third-party providers, and proprietary sources across various sectors.
- Assess companies' ESG performance, identify material risks and opportunities, and benchmark against industry peers and best practices.
- Develop and maintain ESG ratings models, frameworks, and methodologies to evaluate corporate sustainability performance.
- Prepare comprehensive ESG reports, presentations, and thought leadership pieces for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor regulatory developments and emerging trends in ESG investing and sustainability reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., investment, research, client services) to integrate ESG insights into business strategies and client deliverables.
- Engage with companies to gather additional ESG information and clarify data points as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ESG analysis, sustainable finance, or corporate sustainability roles.
- Strong understanding of major ESG frameworks (e.g., SASB, TCFD, GRI, SDGs) and ratings methodologies.
- Proven ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets, translating complex information into clear insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in report writing and presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modeling.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a remote work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Environmental Science, Business, Economics, or a related field.
