As an Event Catering Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of our catering operations, supporting our experienced team in delivering exceptional food and beverage service at a diverse range of events, from corporate gatherings to private celebrations and large-scale functions across Sheffield. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up event spaces, including tables, chairs, and buffet stations, to precise specifications.
- Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks and plating, ensuring high standards of presentation.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner, anticipating their needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all catering areas before, during, and after events.
- Replenish food and drink stations regularly, ensuring sufficient stock levels throughout the event.
- Assist with the clear-down process post-event, including washing up, waste disposal, and equipment storage.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient event operations.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
