Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide visible and approachable presence, acting as a primary point of contact for attendees.
  • Direct patrons efficiently to their seats, facilities, and designated exits, maintaining order and courtesy.
  • Enforce event rules and regulations consistently, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
  • Assist with effective crowd control and queue management, especially during peak times and emergency situations.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to attendee inquiries, provide accurate information, and resolve minor issues.
  • Monitor designated event areas for potential hazards, suspicious activity, or unauthorized entry.
  • Collaborate effectively with security, medical, and venue staff to address incidents and emergencies promptly.
  • Assist with pre-event setup, including signage placement and area preparation, and post-event breakdown tasks as required.
  • Report any issues, incidents, or concerns directly to the supervisory team immediately for resolution.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and professionalism, representing Hiring.zycto positively at all times.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often outdoors, regardless of weather.
  • Strong observational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm, composed, and effective under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
  • High level of reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as per event schedules.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (6+ months) in a customer service, hospitality, or event security role.
  • Valid First Aid and/or CPR certification.
  • Basic knowledge of security procedures and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Ability to speak additional languages (e.g., French, Mandarin, Punjabi, Spanish).
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
