Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating and scheduling routine preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Support the Facility Manager in overseeing vendor activities and service agreements.
  • Respond to and track facility service requests from tenants and staff, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Help maintain accurate records of equipment, inventory, and maintenance logs.
  • Conduct regular visual inspections of facilities to identify and report maintenance needs or safety hazards.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces or meeting rooms as required.
  • Ensure basic compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Procure and manage facility supplies and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Provide administrative support to the facility management team, including data entry and report generation.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new tasks, and follow instructions diligently.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable approach to all responsibilities.
  • Physical ability to perform routine facility checks, light lifting (up to 25 lbs), and standing for extended periods.
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a customer service, administrative, or team support role.
  • Basic understanding of building systems or general maintenance concepts.
