Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and sanitization of manufacturing areas, including production floors, restrooms, breakrooms, and offices.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly to maintain cleanliness and prevent slip hazards.
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Clean and disinfect surfaces, machinery exteriors, and equipment according to established safety and hygiene protocols.
- Restock supplies in restrooms and breakrooms (e.g., soap, paper towels, toilet paper).
- Operate and maintain basic cleaning equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., floor buffers, vacuum cleaners).
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to supervision promptly.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or organizing storage areas.
- Maintain an organized and tidy cleaning supply closet.
