Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently move raw materials, finished products, and supplies within the factory using manual and powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts after training/certification).
- Load and unload delivery trucks, verifying contents against invoices and documenting discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring proper labeling, rotation, and accessibility.
- Prepare and stage materials for various production lines, ensuring the correct components are available at the right time.
- Perform routine equipment checks, basic maintenance, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, operational procedures, and quality standards.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and participate in quality control checks as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly throughout a shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and documentation.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels, invoices, and instructions.
