Key Responsibilities
- Assist in mooring and unmooring operations, handling lines and cables with precision.
- Conduct regular safety checks and maintain cleanliness of the ferry deck and public areas.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Guide vehicle traffic on and off the ferry according to established procedures.
- Participate actively in all safety drills, including fire, man overboard, and abandon ship scenarios.
- Operate and maintain deck equipment, including winches, davits, and rescue boats.
- Report any maintenance needs or safety concerns to the supervising officer.
- Adhere strictly to all maritime regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to passengers as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Captain or First Officer.
