Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team in Downtown, Pasadena. Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of industrial automation equipment and control systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration procedures to ensure optimal system performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Generate detailed service reports, document repairs, and maintain accurate records of service activities.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and sales teams to resolve customer issues and improve product reliability.
- Manage spare parts inventory and service tools efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while working on client sites.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service or technical support roles for industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electromechanical systems, PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi), HMIs, and motor controls.
- Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profibus, Modbus).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%).

Preferred Qualifications
