Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/ASPE), and internal policies.
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior management.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and mentor a small team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
- Collaborate with other department heads to understand their financial needs and provide strategic financial guidance.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing effective internal controls.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a management capacity.
- Proven experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/ASPE) and financial regulations.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

Preferred Qualifications
