Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their financial aspirations and concerns.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses to assess client situations and identify opportunities.
  • Design and implement personalized financial plans covering investments, retirement, insurance, education, and estate planning.
  • Provide expert advice on a wide range of financial products and services, ensuring suitability and alignment with client goals.
  • Monitor client portfolios regularly, making adjustments as needed to respond to market changes and life events.
  • Educate clients on financial strategies, market trends, and risk management.
  • Acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach efforts.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists (e.g., estate planners, insurance specialists) to deliver holistic client solutions.
  • Ensure all client interactions and recommendations adhere to compliance standards and ethical guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Financial Advisor or in a similar client-facing financial role.
  • Possession of relevant licenses and registrations (e.g., CSC, LLQP, CFP or working towards).
  • Proven ability to build and manage a client portfolio.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products, insurance, and financial planning strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software and CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and a commitment to client best interests.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with high-net-worth clients.
  • Existing book of business or strong networking capabilities.
  • Additional financial industry designations (e.g., CFA, CIM).
