Key Responsibilities
- Conduct personalized one-on-one and small group training sessions focusing on client goals.
- Design and implement safe, effective, and engaging exercise programs for diverse populations.
- Lead dynamic group fitness classes (e.g., HIIT, strength, circuit training) during morning hours.
- Provide professional guidance on nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and recovery techniques.
- Assess client fitness levels, track progress, and adjust programs as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe training environment.
- Educate clients on proper exercise form and technique to prevent injury.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and support.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new fitness methodologies.
- Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing professional development.
Required Skills
- Certified Personal Trainer (e.g., REPs Level 3, CIMSPA, NASM, ACE, ACSM)
- Proven experience in designing and delivering effective exercise programs
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and exercise science
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills
- Ability to assess client needs and tailor programs accordingly
- Proficiency in demonstrating a wide range of exercises
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Reliable and punctual, especially for early morning shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications (e.g., Group Exercise Instructor, Nutrition Specialist, Yoga, Pilates)
- Experience with specific client populations (e.g., seniors, pre/post-natal, athletes)
- Knowledge of various training modalities (e.g., functional training, calisthenics, Olympic lifting)
- Proficiency in using fitness tracking software or apps
- A degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field
