Job Description
Hiring.zycto is excited to recruit passionate and dedicated Flight Attendants to join our growing cabin crew team. Based in Stoke-on-Trent, England, this role is pivotal in ensuring the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of our passengers on every flight. As a Flight Attendant, you will be the face of our airline, embodying our commitment to exceptional service and uncompromised safety. Your primary duties will encompass pre-flight checks, welcoming passengers, assisting with boarding and disembarking, serving meals and beverages, and addressing passenger inquiries and needs with a warm and professional demeanour. Crucially, you will also be responsible for demonstrating and enforcing safety procedures, handling emergency situations with calm efficiency, and administering first aid when necessary. We operate a diverse fleet flying to a wide array of destinations, offering an exciting and varied work schedule. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-flight safety checks and ensure cabin readiness according to strict regulations.
- Warmly greet passengers, assist with seating, and manage carry-on luggage efficiently.
- Deliver exceptional inflight service, including serving food, beverages, and retail items.
- Clearly demonstrate safety procedures, including the use of oxygen masks, life jackets, and emergency exits.
- Respond calmly and effectively to inflight medical emergencies, security incidents, and other critical situations.
- Ensure compliance with all aviation safety and security protocols throughout the flight.
- Provide first aid assistance to passengers as required.
- Resolve passenger concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Work collaboratively with the flight deck crew and other cabin crew members to ensure smooth operations.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and reports accurately after each flight.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure
- Demonstrable customer service experience (minimum 1 year)
- Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in English (additional languages a significant plus)
- Valid UK passport with unrestricted right to live and work in the UK
- Ability to swim 25 meters unaided
- Physically fit and able to meet the demanding requirements of the role
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the travel or hospitality industry
- Fluency in a second language (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Arabic)
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
- Certified in First Aid or Emergency Response
