As a Floor Associate, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service and ensuring our customers have an enjoyable and seamless shopping experience. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the store’s appearance, assisting with merchandise presentation, and supporting daily operations. No two days are quite the same in retail, and you’ll gain valuable skills in customer interaction, teamwork, problem-solving, and inventory management. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, locating items, and providing recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including shelving, displays, and fitting rooms.
- Assist with receiving and processing new merchandise, including unpacking, pricing, and stocking shelves.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and debit payments.
- Assist with visual merchandising tasks, ensuring products are displayed attractively and according to company standards.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges in a professional and courteous manner.
- Support loss prevention efforts by being vigilant and reporting suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
