Key Responsibilities

  • Design and create a wide range of floral arrangements, including bouquets, centerpieces, wreaths, and installations for various occasions.
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget, offering expert advice on flower selection and design concepts.
  • Manage and process incoming floral shipments, ensuring proper handling, conditioning, and storage to maximize freshness and longevity.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including regularly cleaning tools, work surfaces, and display areas.
  • Assist with inventory management, including tracking flower stock, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, handling inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on current floral design trends, techniques, and flower availability to continuously enhance offerings.
  • Support event setup and breakdown, transporting arrangements and ensuring flawless execution on-site when required.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience as a Floral Designer.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in various floral design styles and techniques.
  • Extensive knowledge of flowers, foliage, and plant care.
  • Strong artistic flair, color theory, and an eye for aesthetics.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client consultations.
  • Physical ability to lift moderate weights, stand for extended periods, and handle flowers and plants.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Formal education or certification in floral design.
  • Experience with event floral design and large-scale installations.
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for occasional deliveries.
