Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently pick up food orders from various restaurants and deliver them to customers.
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Accurately verify order details before pickup and upon delivery.
- Handle payments and transactions accurately (if applicable, via app or cash).
- Maintain cleanliness and good condition of your delivery vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with customers, restaurants, and dispatch support regarding order status.
- Manage delivery routes efficiently using navigation tools provided.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license (Class 5 or equivalent in Quebec)
- Access to a reliable vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle, depending on operational needs)
- Valid auto insurance (if using a motorized vehicle)
- Smartphone with data plan for using delivery app
- Ability to lift and carry delivery bags (up to 20 lbs)
- Strong sense of direction and familiarity with Montreal roads (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Excellent time management skills
- Customer-centric attitude with good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with navigation apps or GPS devices
