Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in comprehensive forklift operation training, including classroom and practical sessions.
  • Safely and efficiently operate various types of forklifts (once certified) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring proper product handling and placement.
  • Perform daily pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment, reporting any issues.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including counting, scanning, and verifying product accuracy.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, company policies, and provincial regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and improve efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding operational status and potential issues.

Required Skills

  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid G Class Driver's License.

  • First Aid/CPR certification (asset).
