Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers.
  • Proactively identify and solicit new business opportunities and client accounts.
  • Negotiate competitive freight rates with both clients and transportation providers.
  • Match freight loads with available carriers efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of freight movements, from booking to delivery.
  • Ensure timely communication with clients and carriers regarding shipment status and potential delays.
  • Resolve any issues, disputes, or challenges that arise during transit promptly.
  • Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other relevant software for optimal operations.
  • Stay informed about market trends, freight rates, and industry regulations.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar logistics sales role (minimum 3 years).
  • Strong negotiation, sales, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and TMS software.
  • Deep understanding of freight market dynamics and transportation regulations.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications
