Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival, processing check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries, providing accurate information and professional assistance.
- Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications with precision, utilizing reservation systems effectively.
- Address guest concerns, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Process payments, manage cash float, and maintain accurate billing records in accordance with company policies.
- Provide comprehensive information about local attractions, services, and amenities in the Jewellery Quarter and wider Birmingham area.
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
- Collaborate closely with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance) to ensure guest needs are met seamlessly.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures, including key management and emergency protocols.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report generation as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service role, ideally within hospitality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and reservation software.
