Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in comprehensive training programs on garage door installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Learn to accurately measure, cut, and assemble tracks, springs, cables, and other components according to specifications.
- Assist experienced installers in the safe and efficient installation of various types of garage doors and automatic openers.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards on every job site.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose common issues with garage door systems under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with clients, explaining installation processes and ensuring satisfaction.
- Load and unload equipment and materials from company vehicles.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Complete necessary paperwork and digital documentation for each service call.
- Provide exceptional customer service, representing Hiring.zycto professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid G-Class Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and commit to a long-term career.
- Punctual and reliable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, carpentry, general labour, or a related trade.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools.
- Working at Heights certification.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
