Hiring.zycto is seeking a motivated and reliable General Helper to join our team, providing essential operational support to the prestigious Peel Art Gallery Museum and Archives (PAMA) in Brampton. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events, exhibitions, and programs, including moving furniture, setting up displays, and arranging equipment.
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as tidying galleries, public areas, and staff spaces, ensuring cleanliness and order.
- Handle and move various materials, supplies, and equipment safely and efficiently, often requiring lifting and carrying.
- Provide basic administrative support, including organizing supplies, filing, and preparing mailings as directed.
- Support inventory management by assisting with receiving deliveries, unpacking, and organizing storage areas.
- Conduct routine checks of facilities, reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate staff.
- Assist visitors and staff with directions or basic information when required, maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, particularly when handling materials or working in public spaces.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members and departments to ensure seamless operational flow.
