Hiring.zycto is actively seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our growing team as a General Laborer within our state-of-the-art warehouse facility located in Malvern, Toronto. This full-time position is critical to the seamless flow of our operations, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched with precision and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials and products manually or using appropriate equipment.
- Assist in stacking, storing, and organizing inventory within the warehouse according to established procedures.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and production lines efficiently and safely.
- Perform general clean-up and maintenance duties to ensure a safe, organized, and hygienic work environment.
- Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) as required and after proper training.
- Follow all company safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure workplace security.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including picking, packing, and accurately labeling goods.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or discrepancies immediately to supervision.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and safely throughout a shift.
- Proven physical stamina, strength, and endurance for demanding tasks.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a valued member of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tasks.
- Strict adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Previous experience (at least 6 months) in a warehouse or general labor role.
- Experience operating manual or electric pallet jacks, or forklifts (certification is a plus).
- Familiarity with basic inventory management systems or processes.
