Based out of Old Montreal, this role offers an exciting blend of rigorous fieldwork and analytical responsibilities, primarily focused on projects across Quebec and potentially other regions of Canada. We are seeking a highly motivated and adventurous professional who thrives in outdoor environments and possesses a keen eye for geological detail.

As a key member of our exploration and environmental assessment teams, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive geological surveys, mapping bedrock and surficial geology, and managing drilling programs in diverse and often remote settings. Your daily tasks will include detailed logging of drill core and cuttings, interpreting geological structures, and collecting critical samples for laboratory analysis. Beyond data collection, you will contribute significantly to project planning, safety protocols, and the development of technical reports that inform crucial decisions for our clients in mining, infrastructure, and environmental sectors.

This position demands a strong foundation in geological principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a small, focused field crew. You will frequently utilize GPS and GIS technologies for precise data capture and spatial analysis, translating complex geological observations into clear, actionable insights. Safety is paramount at Hiring.zycto; therefore, a commitment to upholding the highest safety standards in all field operations is non-negotiable.
